Highly Skilled in most common computer applications including: Word, Excel, Access, Photoshop, Corel Draw, Vectorworks, Renderworks, AutoCad, and Light Wright. Highly proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and construction drawings, as well as extensive knowledge of creating light plots and paper work. Working knowledge of many lighting consoles including: Express, Expression, Obsession, Strand GXS, Strand 520i, Wholehog 2, Wholehog 3, Maxzxy, Grand MA, and Horizon. Good scenic carpentry skills ranging from fine carpentry to glue and staple construction. Hobbies include photography, reading, writing and drawing.

2004-Present Part Time Production Specialist, Vincent Lighting Systems, Kentucky Branch
Responsible for providing basic labor for the load in and strike of lighting for productions ranging in size form large setups for corporate events, to occasional tent weddings.

2003-Present Graduate Assistant College Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati Lighting Shop
Responsible for the maintenance of the light shop and all lighting equipment including lighting consoles, fixtures, cable, and color inventories. Responsibilities also include maintaining all lighting systems in all of the theaters at CCM including managing recital plots, and providing support for all main stage productions.

2004 February Assistant Lighting DesignerEurope in Belgrade, Belgrade Serbia
Designed the moving lights for the nationally televised production of the celebration for the 200 years of Serbian independence. Sava Center, Beograde, Serbia.

2004 Summer Digital Artist,Rendering for Paul Shortt (Architectural Theater Consultant), Moeller Archbishop High
School Theater Redesign. Created computer rendered images from Paul Shortt’s floor plan and elevations of the gym/auditorium into a dedicated theater space. The project gained approval and a commitment of the fundraising office for several million dollars. Cincinnati, Ohio.

2001-2003 Summers Lecturer/Designer, Theater Discover Institute, Stanford University, Palo Alto, California
Taught gifted high school students interested in theater at an intense three week theater immersion camp. Classes taught ranged from playwriting, where students were encouraged to write a complete one act in a workshop environment, to theater technology, were groups of students learned to design lighting around a short pieces of music.

I developed my own curriculum under the supervision of Drama teacher Brad Freidman which covered every aspect of technical theater including designing costumes, sets, and lighting, scenery construction techniques, and managing production budgets. I also supervised parents and managed student crews for the build and tech of the three large productions a year at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center. This job also involved teaching different levels of students ranging from honors students to several students with special needs.
